Youth Ministry

The Turning Pointe Youth Ministry is divided into three primary strands:

• Trusting: Each month, all students in grades 6-12 are invited to attend a large group activity. This may be a game night, a special concert, or other outing. The goal of the “TRUSTING” events is to allow the youth time to build relationships as they socialize and get to know one another better.

• Together: Every youth is invited to become a part of a small group. Groups are formed based on age and interests. Each is led by a pair of caring adults who will guide the groups through Bible studies and other devotional activities. Meeting times vary. Please see Staci if you are interested in joining one.

• Pointing To Jesus: Mission work is at the heart of the youth ministry. We have fun, build relationships with one another, and share the love of Christ! Each month, the youth will participate in a mission activity within the Evansville area. Each summer, they participate in mission trips to work with people in need.

At the Turning Pointe, we believe that the youth are a vital part of our congregation and are capable of leadership within the greater church family. Youth are highly encouraged to sign up for ALL TTP ministry areas. We would love to see them volunteer with the children's ministry as shepherds or nursery workers. Youth can also serve Communion and volunteer with the hospitality ministries. They are also welcome in other areas such as the praise team and media ministries!
