Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of the Lenten season, a sacred time when we slow down, look inward, and prepare our hearts for the journey toward the cross and the hope of the Resurrection. This simple but meaningful service invites us to remember our need for grace, reflect on God’s mercy, and turn our hearts toward Christ in a fresh way.

Palm Sunday invites us into the beginning of the most meaningful week of the Christian story. On this day, we remember Jesus riding into Jerusalem with humility and purpose, welcomed by shouts of praise from people who longed for hope.

Maundy Thursday invites us to step into the upper room and remember the night Jesus gathered with His disciples before going to the cross. This special service centers around a powerful live demonstration of the Last Supper, helping us see and feel the weight of Christ’s love in a fresh way.

As we reflect on His command to love one another, we will remember the sacrifice He was preparing to make, the humility He displayed, and the grace He offered even to those who would betray and abandon Him.

On Good Friday, we remember the love of Christ shown most clearly on the cross. To help us enter this day with reflection and gratitude, our sanctuary will be open for a come and go prayer vigil from morning to evening.

You are invited to stop in at any point during the day for a quiet time of prayer. The lights will be low, the atmosphere will be still, and prayer prompts will be available to guide your time if you find them helpful. You are also welcome to pray for anything the Lord places on your heart.

Whether you stay for five minutes or an hour, this is a meaningful opportunity to slow down, seek the Lord, and reflect on the hope that comes through His sacrifice.

Kids Pointe and our F3 Youth Group are in for an exciting morning. During our regular worship service, children and students will take part in a special on-campus Escape Room experience designed just for them. They will solve clues, work together, and enjoy a creative challenge that brings a whole lot of laughter and teamwork.

While adults gather for worship, our kids will be having a memorable time of their own in a safe, engaging, and faith-filled environment. It is a great Sunday for families to join us, knowing their children will be having a meaningful and fun experience.

Faith becomes powerful when it moves beyond our walls and into the lives of real people. On this special Sunday, our entire church family will gather after service and head out into the Evansville community for a church wide serve day. Together we will lend a hand where it is needed most, helping with home repairs, yard work, cleanups, and other practical projects that bless our neighbors.

This day is all about showing the love of Jesus in tangible ways. You do not need special skills or experience. You simply need a willing heart and a desire to make a difference. When we serve together, we get to see firsthand how God uses ordinary acts of kindness to bring extraordinary hope.
