Follow Me
What does it really mean to follow Jesus?
In this message, Follow Me, Pastor Zakk walks through Jesus’ powerful invitation in Matthew 16:24–26 and challenges us to move beyond passive belief into active discipleship. Following Jesus is not just about agreeing with His teachings. It is about surrendering our lives, trusting His leadership, and choosing obedience even when it costs us something.
As The Turning Pointe begins a new season focused on discipleship, this message calls us to reflect on where Jesus is leading us and how we are responding to His invitation. True life is not found in comfort, control, or success. It is found in walking with Christ daily.
If you are searching for purpose, direction, or a deeper walk with Jesus, we hope this message encourages you to take your next step of faith.
Renew the Vision
As we begin a new year, we pause to reflect on where God has brought us so we can move forward with clarity and purpose.
Drawing from the same Scripture preached on The Turning Pointe’s very first Sunday in 1994, we revisit Jesus’ defining question: Who do you say that I am?
From that confession, Christ promises to build His Church. This message calls us to renew our vision, recommit to our mission of helping people find and follow Jesus, and step boldly into the future God is still building among us.
It’s Complicated
We often make faith far more complicated than it was ever meant to be. Rules, pressure, performance, and expectations slowly creep in, and before we know it, the simple good news of Jesus feels heavy and exhausting.
In this message from Galatians 2:16–21, we’re reminded that we are not made right with God by our effort, our obedience, or our ability to “do enough.” We are made right by trusting in Christ alone. Paul calls us back to a Gospel that is simple, freeing, and life-giving — because Jesus has already finished the work.
Whether you’ve followed Jesus for years or you’re just beginning to ask questions about faith, this message invites you to stop striving, stop performing, and rest in the grace God has already given.
The Gospel is simple because Jesus is enough.
Make Room at The Table
The Advent season reminds us that God’s invitation is wide open. Long before we came to Him, He was preparing a place for us. This week, we’re learning that making room for others isn’t just about hospitality; it’s about reflecting the heart of Christ, who leveled the ground and welcomed us to His table of grace.
Make Room for Enemies
The arrival of Christ confronts our instinct to shut others out. This Advent season, Jesus calls us to love those we’d rather avoid, to release the bitterness that weighs us down, and to make room for peace where resentment once lived. Before we ever made room for Him, He made room for us. And now He invites us to do the same.
From Desperation to Deliverance
We all know what it feels like to be desperate: for healing, for hope, for peace. In Mark 5, a woman who had suffered for twelve long years reached out to Jesus in faith, and in one moment, everything changed. She came for healing, but He gave her more than she ever imagined: peace, wholeness, and a new identity. In this message, Pastor Zakk Gammon shows us how Jesus still meets us in our desperation, and how reaching out in faith can change everything.
From Chains to Mission
We all know what it feels like to be chained: by addiction, shame, fear, or just the labels people put on us. In Mark 5, Jesus steps into enemy territory and frees a man everyone else had given up on. But He didn’t just break the man’s chains; He gave him a mission.
In this message, Pastor Zakk Gammon shows us that Jesus frees us not only from bondage but also for mission. The question is: will we keep living in our chains, or will we walk in the freedom He offers?
Forgiven & Healed
We all think we know what our biggest problem is: finances, health, relationships. But sometimes the things that feel most urgent aren’t actually the most important.
In Mark 2, four friends lowered a paralyzed man through a roof to get him to Jesus. He came for healing, but Jesus gave him something far greater: forgiveness.
In this message, discover that Jesus always meets our deepest need before our obvious one. The question is, will we walk away unchanged, or walk out forgiven?
