Small Groups

Small groups are a great way to build genuine relationships in the church. The Turning Pointe’s small groups are designed around the following principles:

  • Fellowship: Although gathering together seems simple, it’s vitally important for the life of the church. Through fellowship, we engage with our faith, not just as individuals, but in groups — a sort of living, breathing example of the body of Christ.

  • Bible Study: There is no greater way to grow our faith than to be in the Word. This can be through a guided Bible study, a stage-of-life study, or a topical exploration with Bible application. This important time together helps us remember the Word of God is still relevant in our lives today.

  • Prayer: Powerful and meaningful, prayer draws us closer in our relationship with Christ and our fellow believers. In our small group, you’ll have opporutnities to share prayer requests, lift others up, and pray for various physical and spiritual needs.

  • Mission: Small groups at TTP are encouraged to find a project or place in the church or the community to serve. Serving together deepens our faith and sense of connection to one another, and to a larger family of believers.

  • Accountability: Personal growth within our small groups is rooted in accountability. This may look like asking fellow group members to hold you accountable to studying the Bible, growing in your faith, serving someone, etc. Small group members help encourage each other on their faith journey together.

We’d love to get you plugged in to a small group! If you’d like to learn more about small groups or join one, contact Pastor Zakk.
